Facebook security

FacebookIt was revealed last week that Facebook had a security lapse that allowed a circumvention of the site’s privacy controls.

The lapse was discovered by a user ‘testing’ the security levels. Facebook claim they had the problem fixed within the hour. But it highlights once again that users shouldn’t be putting images up on the web that they don’t want the world to see, regardless of how robust the site says their security is, and regardless of the privacy settings they claim will protect your images.

  1. Hey Skinny,

What are your thoughts on facebook apps and their usefulness… aren’t they all just a waste of time?
