It’s official. John Key does not have an opinion on anything.

I listened with amusement to National Radio this morning. The news featured a story about Winston Peters and New Zealand First giving their $158,000 electioneering overspending to Starship Children’s Hospital .

Greens co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons said that no-one will be upset that Starship is getting the money, but it is a stunt.

Rodney Hide on behalf of ACT said it was a political stunt and that the money belongs to the NZ taxpayer.

What did John Key say?

He said: “I’ll leave it to the NZ public to decide…” which is like saying “I can’t make up my mind on this so I’ll let the NZ public do it for me”.

Good on you John. That’s decisive leadership.
