The route has been revealed and it’s long and thin, and a bit hairy.

On first blush it doesn’t look that long. But it is 1634km from Turangi to Cape Reinga and back, with slightly different detours on the way there and back.

To top it this is the forecast rain and wind for Sunday morning around 7.00am when I’ll be around Ngaruawahia.
