John Key seems to have the same affliction as George W. Bush…whenever he speaks it never quite seems to come out right.

One example – the furore over secret tapings and ransacked rubbish.

Asked by the protestors outside the National Party conference in the weekend to apologise he told Duncan Garner on TV3 news:

“Well, no chance…um…we’ll be spending our time…um…getting to the bottom of this person.”

Hmm, interesting turn of phrase.
