Strange dream – really!

I’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday (two weeks ago) down to the West Coast of the South Island here in Aotearoa. Took Sugar and the twins – it was the boys first road trip.

I guess it was the fresh air and the mountain scenery that made me have the weirdest dreams – the weirdest being the one about the late great Possum Bourne’s wife.

I dreamt she had a full body tattoo!

I can’t remember much more than that but it was very very ‘real’ at the time. So, Peggy, if you’re out there and reading this, can you confirm or deny whether my dream can be verified as true, or whether it’s complete fantasy?

  1. Ok, I’m laughing…. Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have a single tattoo at all…. Although I did think about putting the little Possum logo on my ankle so that Possum would walk with me all the rest of my days…… hmmm, maybe one day.
I know this is a year later from when you posted, but hey… I always get there in the end! Hope you have a fantastic day… And good luck with the dreams!
    Best always,

    Pegs

  2. Hi Peggy,

Thankyou so much for replying, even if the original post was nearly a year old.

I’m having trouble remembering the dream but I do remember it being vivid enough that I felt the need to blog about it.

If you are considering getting that Possum logo done on your ankle I can highly recommend Roger Ingerton here in Wellington – commonly known as the ‘Colin McCahon of New Zealand tattooing’. He’s been doing a few for me over the last 20 years – I’m in the process of having a sleeve done of New Zealand native birds. He is the nicest person around.

    Take care.
