Someone came up with the idea of getting advertising agencies to pitch for an impossible job, all in the name of fun. Past pitch attempts have been for the return of child labour; to make the humble plastic bag fashionable again; to make celibacy sexy…
You get the idea.
It’s a good idea but you have to wonder when these agencies do all their real work.
The latest ‘pitch’ is one to convince Australia that it’s OK to invade New Zealand. It is very funny. My favourite, and the one that was winning last time I looked, makes a play on the 100% pure campaign that New Zealand Tourism have been running all around the world.
